The NiteSite system has an infra-red camera that fits to a regular day scope using a flexible sleeve. Once the camera is put in place and connected to the LCD screen and illuminator module, the image of the cross-hairs is clearly visible on the LCD screen!
The LCD screen and illuminator module has an infra red beam that is switched in four increments from off to full by turning the switch on top of the illuminator unit. The infra red camera module can see the infra red light very clearly. This method of night vision can give a recognisable image up to a distance of 200 yards with the NS200 model. This will depend on the quality of the day scope optics that are in use at the time.
Reasons why NiteSite is the best solution to night shooting:
It converts your current day set up into a night set up in minutes
The kit comes with everything, all you need already is your current scope and rifle
No need to re-zero, the kit clips on and clips off
Shoot theough the day, dusk and night all with the same equipment
Compliments all your scope's current capabilities, you are still able to use variable zoom, illumited reticle, parallax, etc.
Much cheaper and much more effective than most NV technologies currently on the market
Plug into a recording device and your can record day/nights shooting
